1.4 - GENERAL PRINCIPLES OF USE
Complete use of the panel is described in the panel operating instructions.
1.4.1 - Equipment monitoring from a control panel
1.4.1.1 - Connection of panel to the Channel Control Unit
The OCP (Operator’s Control Panel) is connected to the “REMOTE” connector on the
Channel Control Unit. It must complete the 150 Ohm link (switch located on back of panel
set to 150 Ohms).
1.4.1.2 - Panel power supply
The power supply voltage, approximately 12 V DC, must be provided by the Channel
Control Unit (pin 5 of REMOTE connector).
Don't use the receptacle XLR4 on the back of the panel.
1.4.1.3 - SMPTE link
The operating system uses the SMPTE sending protocol.
1.4.1.4 - Channel Control Unit to panel distance
The maximum distance is conditionally 100 metres. Refer to the 2.8 - Operator’s control
panel paragraph.
